Hole 3 is
the first par three at Shirley Park.
The green is large with a steep slope at the
front and bunkers will catch anything hit too
far left or right.
So whatever club you choose will need to carry
all the way into the centre of the green or
have enough strength to climb the slope and
miss the bunkers.
You could end up with a long putt on this green
and, if you have, you’ll need to judge
the slope very carefully.
