Hole 9 is a par five, dogleg hole to the left,
which needs to be played with tact. Every
shot is a challenge and long drivers can
get into trouble if they go too far and
run out of fairway.
A long drive can leave you with a chance
to go for the green or you can lay-up
to around the 150-yard marker to give
yourself an easier approach shot.
The second half of this hole slopes from
right to left and is wooded all the way
to the green and beyond. And the green
is one of the smallest on the course,
so getting on for two or three is not
always easy.
