Shirley Park Golf Club has a reputation for being warm and friendly with a packed programme of golf events and more than twenty social events throughout the year. So it's not surprising that a lot of people want to join.

Shirley Park is owned by its members and we set limits for the number of members we have. This means members can turn up and play golf whenever they want, without the tiresome task of booking the tee days or weeks in advance. We only have bookings on sunday mornings for Medals and Competitions. All profits made are ploughed back into the Club and over the last six years we've spent more than £2 million on the course, clubhouse and a new 150 year lease so it shouldn't be surprising that every new member pays a joining fee of up to £960 (7-day) which can be paid, interest free, over three years.

Don't worry if you don't have sponsors, we operate a ‘six month rule’ to allow you to play golf, meet people and find them. If you havn't got a handicap certificate you can play 3 rounds at Shirley and we'll even give you that cost back when you join. Gents handicaps are 24 or lower for 7 day and 28 or less for 5 day. Our ladies handicaps are 36 or less.
